Komets Get to Within 1 Point of First with Win Over Evansville

(Fort Wayne)- Chris Auger scored his 4th goal of the night on a penalty shot in the third period and the Komets beat first place Evansville 5-0 on Saturday night. Auger has 9 goals and 15 points in the last 12 games. The win gets the K's within 1 point of first place. Nick Boucher had 31 saves to get the shutout. The K's host Dayton on Sunday night to finish out the week.
