(Fort Wayne)- Colin Chaulk got the scoring going just over a minute into the game and the Komets used a strong first period to get a 4-2 win over Dayton.

The Komets scored 3 first period goals with Kaleigh Schrock scoring his first of the season and Jamie Milam adding a power play goal. A win by Evansville over Bloomington keeps the K's a point out of first place.

Come down to Wrigley Field Bar and Grill for "Sound Off with the Komets" on Monday night at 7:30 to talk about the K's. Komet Legends Eddie Long and George Drysdale will be our guests.
