NOTRE DAME, Ind. (21 Alive) - Notre Dame scored the first 14 points of the game and never looked back in downing Oklahoma State 89-70 Saturday in the semifinals of the Notre Dame Regional of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.
Natalie Achonwa led the Irish with 23 points, while Jewell Lloyd chipped in 20 and Kayla McBride 18 for the Irish, who remained unbeaten at 35-0, and winners of their last 27 games at home.
That will be tested in the regional final Monday night when Notre Dame meets Baylor, the last team to beat them at home last season.
