Indiana Sweeps Border Wars Games From Ohio (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Indiana's teams scored one sided wins over their Ohio counterparts on Sunday to sweep the annual Border Wars high school basketball series.

21 Alive Girls Player of the Year Kindell Fincher of Canterbury had 23 points and her Indiana All Star teammate Sydney Buck of Homestead 17 to lead the Indiana Girls' 95-70 win over Ohio.

Fincher was named game MVP.

Wayne's Justin Mitchell scored 25 points and added twelve rebounds to lead the Indiana boys to their `127-87 win over Ohio, en route to winning the MVP award for that game.

Between Games, the NAIA Division II women's basketball champions from Saint Francis were honored with the 2014 Nancy Rehm Award for their contributions to local girls athletics.
