FORT WAYNE, Indiana (21 Alive) - Cooper Vandermaas-Pa tallied the only goal of the match early in the second half and North Carolina nipped Indiana 1-0 Saturday night in the featured wrapup match of the Shindigz National Soccer Festival at Hefner Field before an overflow crowd.

The Hoosiers lost despite having six shots on goal to just two for the Tar Heels and dominating play for most of the match.

It was a battle of the two most recent NCAA men's soccer national champions in preseason play.
