FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Sophomore Sam Pavlika tied the Mastodon career shutout record with her fifth shutout of the season, as IPFW won its third straight, improving to 6-9-1 on the season, and 3-1-1 in Summit League play with a 1-0 victory over Omaha on Sunday afternoon.

The Mastodons struck quickly in the game, when Sydney Hoareau laid back a beautiful pass into the top of the box, where a charging Gaby Romo was able to put a foot on the ball, beating the Omaha goalkeeper to the right side of the goal 18:50 into the contest.

The Mastodons close out the regular season next weekend with matches at North Dakota State and South Dakota State, with the Summit League Tournament a weekend after.
