FARGO, North Dakota (www.incnow.tv) - A three-run sixth inning, including a tie breaking Brittany Kachur bases loaded walk, lifted IPFW to its first ever NCAA Softball Tournament appearance, as the Mastodons topped North Dakota State 7-4 in the Summit League Tournament final Saturday.

IPFW (34-14) will find out its opponent, and location of the games for the NCAA Regional, on Sunday night

The Mastodons, which fell in the first game of the day to the Bison 7-4 but remained alive as the only unbeaten team in the double elimination tournament, were led by tournament MVP Ashleigh Bousquet who hit two home runs on the day and scored three times.
