IPFW Divides Baseball Twin Bill With North Dakota State

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) – IPFW divided a baseball doubleheader Sunday with North Dakota State, taking the opener 4-3 before blowing a lead in the ninth and dropping the nightcap 6-4.

The Mastodons are now 15-16 overall with a 3-5 record in Summit League competition.

Brandon Soat went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored in game one.

NDSU scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to steal the second game of the day.

The Mastodons will return to action with a four-game road trip at Oakland next weekend April 19-21.
