Huntington Renames Arena For School Legend, Then Falls To Cardinal Stritch

HUNTINGTON (www.incnow.tv) - After renaming their home arena for former star player and coach Steve Platt, Huntington lost in the final of their Tip-Off Classic to Cardinal Stritch Saturday 58-45.

Shane Merryman led the Foresters with 18 points, but was their only player in double figures.

Derek Semenas with 14 points and Tony Smit with 13 topped Cardinal Stritch.

Platt was honored with the renaming of the basketball arena in his name in pregame ceremonies.
