CARMEL, Ind. (21 Alive) - Huntington North senior pitcher Erin Rethlake has been named the 2014 Indiana Miss Softball by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (ICGSA).

Rethlake went 13-2 with an 0.80 earned run average and 138 strikeouts in 96 2/3 innings, overcoming an early season concussion.

She was at her best in the postseason, throwing a perfect game in the sectional final, and two hit shutouts in both the regional and the semi-state semifinal, the latter against then top ranked and unbeaten Crown Point.

Rethlake now moves to college softball at Kentucky.
