Homestead, New Haven, Norwell, Carroll NHC Boys Victors; Heritage, Woodlan Claim ACAC Wins (VIDEO)

UNDATED (21 Alive) - Homestead, New Haven, and Norwell remained in a tie for the Northeast Hoosier Conference boys basketball lead with wins Friday night.

Caleb Swanigan made the last of his 18 points a buzzer beating three pointer that gave Homestead a 41-38 win at DeKalb.

Cole Hartman's 19 points paced the hard luck losing Barons.

Jaylin Wattley had 15 points and Steve McElvene ten to push New Haven to their 48-35 win at Columbia City to join Homestead at the top of the NHC at 4-0.

Norwell is the third 4-0 NHC boys team after their 60-21 blowout of East Noble, with Drew Shively heading their attack with 20 points and David Vogel adding 16.

Carroll got its first NHC win by routing Bellmont 63-29, led by the 24 points of Jacob Hansen and the 22 of Kyle Mallers.

Bradley Scott's 16 points led all scorers and led Heritage to their 38-36 win at Adams Central, putting the Patriots in a three way tie for the ACAC lead.

Woodlan is also part of that three way lead after their 60-54 win at Leo, with Jaylin Bennett scoring 16 points and Greg White 14.
