Heritage Downs Jimtown; Luers Shades Churubusco: AC's Season Ends

UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - Heritage ousted 3A's top ranked team, Luers put down a challenge from Churubusco, and Adams Centra's season ended at North Miami Friday night.

Connor Sheehan threw for 316 yards and five touchdowns in leading Heritage to a 40-29 win over top ranked Jimtown in a 3A sectional final.

Ben Gibson caught three of Sheehan's scoring passes and had grabs in all for 78 yards.

Heritage won despite totaling just 40 rushing yards.

The Patriots will play at Mishawaka Marian in the 3A regional next Friday.

Jaylon Smith broke out for 137 yards and two touchdown as Bishop Luers shut out Churubusco 21-0 in the 2A sectional final.

Michael Rogers added a 40 yard scoring run for the Knights.

Jason Nicodemus had 134 yards in his final game for Churubusco..

Luers will play at Tipton in the 2A regional Friday.

North Miami ended Adams Central's run in the 1A playoffs with a 33-15 win over the Jets.

Dalton Combs scored both AC touchdowns.
