UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Former Harding star and Indiana wide receiver Dre Muhammad has signed with the NFL Oakland Raiders.

Muhammad, who starred in both football and basketball at Harding, played his way into a scholarship prior to his senior season at IU last fall.

He then went out and was a big contributor with 26 catches for 236 yards, and he also returned twelve punts, averaging over five yards a return.

That effort and work with Fort Wayne based Athletes With Purpose in training appears to have given Muhammad his shot at the highest level of football.
