Girls H.S. Hoops Players Get Exposure In New Event (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - 81 area high school girls basketball player were involved in the inaugural Northeast Indiana Conference Clasg Sunday at Saint Francis.

Players from Summit Athletic Conference, Northeast Hoosier Conference, Allen County Athletic Conference, and Northeast Corner Conference schools, along with Canterbury, Blackhawk Christian, Warsaw, Whitko, Jay County, and Wabash County schools took part in four games, two involving just senior players, and two for underclass players.

The aim is to make coaches at the high school and college levels more aware of who the top players are to watch, to recruit or as opponents next year..
