Four Area Teams End Seasons At Soccer Semi-States (VIDEO)

UNDATED (21 Alive) - Northeast Indiana failed to put a single team in the state high school soccer finals next Saturday.

In boys 2A, at Warsaw, Canterbury was beaten in the semi-state final by unbeaten Crown Point 2-1, after reaching the final with a 5-2 semi-final win over Marion.

Bishop Luers topped Argos 2-0 in the 1A boys semi-state semifinal at Laville, but then fell in the final to Guerin Catholic 1-0.

In girls 2A, Homestead was ousted in the semifinals by Valparaiso at South Bend St. Joseph 2-1 in penalty kicks.

Bishop Luers scored a 1-0 semifinal win in girls 1A at Argos over Wheeler, but then lost 3-2 in overtime to West Lafayette in the final.
