Fort Wayne's Siebenaler Tabbed In 3rd Round Of NHL Draft (VIDEO)

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (21 Alive) - 18 year old Blake Siebenaler, who three years ago was played in the Fort Wayne High School Hockey league, was taken in the third round of the National Hockey League Draft on Saturday by Columbus.

Siebenaler, a defenseman who left Fort Wayne after his freshman year at Carroll High School to pursue his drream to play big time hockey, was the 77th overall pick.

He will report to the Blue Jackets development rookie camp on July 6th.


Siebenaler had six goals and 30 points in 68 games for Niagara Falls of the Ontario Hockey League this past season.
