FRANKLIN, Ind. (21 Alive) - Fort Wayne's Ashley Kees shot a two under par 142 and came up a shot short Thursday of winning the Indiana Women's Open golf tournament.
Kelly Grassel of Chesterton shot a final round four under par 68 and finished at three under 141 to win the championship.
Kees had a solid two day performance that included a hole-in-one Wednesday in the first round.
Other area players included Katie Sharp of Kendallville at 154, Karley Dobis of Fort Wayne, the defending Women's City golf champ, at 156, Sarah Dusman of Fort Wayne at 157, four time Women's City champ Michelle Smith of Fort Wayne at 158, and Ashton Taft of Fort Wayne at 163.
