Former Wizard Cuddyer's Hitting Streak Reaches 27 Games

DENVER, Colorado (www.incnow.tv) - Former Fort Wayne Wizard Michael Cuddyer extended the longest hitting streak of the 2013 Major League Baseball season to 27 games Sunday.

Cuddyer, in his final at bat, drove a base hit through the middle against the San Francisco Giants to extend the streak that is now a Colorado Rockies team record, as is his 45 games in a row getting on base at least once.

Cuddyer enjoyed a solid season in 1998 with the Wizards at age 19.
