Five Area Wrestler Finish Fourth or Better At State; Homestead Cops Boys Swim Sectional

UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - Five wrestlers from northeast Indiana finished fourth or better at the state high school wrestling meet in indianapolis Saturday.

Garrett Pepple of East Noble at 106 pounds and Riley Lefever of Carroll at 170 had the highest area finishes, each coming in second.

Sawyer Miller of South Adams at 113, and Anthony Linnear of North Side at 170 each got a third place finish, and Connor Knapp of East Noble was fourth at 113 pounds.

Homestead won six of 13 events to take the Fort Wayne boys swimming sectional Saturday with 533 points.

Carroll wound up second with 415 points and two individual event winners.

Snider won five events for third place, led by wins in the 100 fly and 200 IM from Gabriel Swandson.
