Eight Indiana College Players Taken In NFL Draft's Third Day

NEW YORK, NY (21 Alive) - Eight additional players from Indiana colleges were selected by NFL teams Saturday on the final day of the NFL Draftm in rounds 4 through 7.

Notre Dame had three additional player chosen, linebacker Prince Shembo in the fourth round by Atlanta, cornerback Bennett Jackson in the sixth round by the New York Giants, and receiver T.J. Jones in the sixth round by the Detroit Lions.

Purdue cornerback Ricardo Allen was chosen in the fifth round by Atlanta, and two selections after he was, his teammate and offensive tackle Kevin Pamphile was taken by Tampa Bay.

Ball State quarterback Ketih Wenning was tabbed by Baltimore in the sixth round. and Cardinal defensive end Jonathan Newsome went a round earlier to the Colts.

Indiana rounded out the eight selections with tight end Tod Bolser going in the seventh round to Washington.
