Dwenger Wins Fourth Straight Gymnastics Regional

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (21 Alive) - Dwenger used its depth and numbers to rack up its fourth straight gymnastics regional title and 18th all time on Friday night at Huntington North.

The Saints totaled 110.850 points, with second place Carroll next at 104.225, and Jay County third at 101.950.

The top three teams advance as teams to state next weekend in Indianapolis.

Alex Cool of Hamilton was the winner on the vault and beam en route to the all around title.

Alex Nickel of Angola won the floor and the vault and was third all around.

Maria Trahin and Katy Linvill of Dwenger placed second and fourth in the all around in leading the Saints' team winning effort.
