Dwenger, Heritage, Carroll Cop Conference Golf Wins

UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - Dwenger, Heritage, and Carroll were winners Saturday at conference boys golf meets around the area.

At Brookwood, Dwenger rolled to a 24 shot win in the Summit Athletic Conference meet with a team score of three under par 285.

The Saints were led by Callahan Elzey's four uder par 68.

Concordia was second at 309, followed by Luers at 319, Northrop at 326, Snider at 337, Wayne at 346, South Side at 409, and North Side at 424.

The Allen County Athletic Conference meet, also held at Brookwood, was won by Heritage with a 298, led by Carter Dornseif's 69.

Dornseif though lost medal honors in a playoff with Leo's Nate Morris, who also shot a 69.

Leo was a close second at 303, then in order came South Adams at 328, Garrett at 330, Bluffton at 357, Woodlan at 372, Adams Central at 394, and Southern Wells at 400.

Carroll won the Northeast Hooser Conference meet at Whispering Creek in New Haven with a 295 score, led by medalist Reid Worden's 71.

It was 16 shots further back to East Noble in second with 311, with Homestead getting third at 319.

Columbia City was fourth at 325, followed by DeKalb at 331, Bellmont at 337, Norwell at 364, and New Haven at 365.
