LYON, France (21Alive) - The Fort Wayne Komets lost another player Monday when center Dean Ouellet signed with the Lyon (France) Hockey Club of the Ligue Magnus.

Ouellet, 26, of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, spent the 2013-14 season split between the Komets and the now-defunct San Francisco Bulls.

He scored 10 points (1 goal, 9 assists) in 16 regular season games with the K's, and added 6 points (4 goals, 2 assists) in the 9 playoff games.

Komets general manager David Franke says Ouellet has been interested in playing with Europe; and that the Komets would welcome Ouellet back in the future.

In other news in the ECHL, the Board of Governors granted the Las Vegas Wranglers a voluntary suspension for the 2013-14 season so they may return for the 2014-15. The Wranglers also announced a deal is in place for a new stadium, too.
