KANSAS CITY, Mo. (21 Alive) - Donald Brown ran for one touchdown and took a pass from Andrew Luck in for another as the Colts silenced some of their critics with a 23-7 win at Kansas City Sunday.
The Colts had not been impressive in road outdoor games, especially in cold weather, but they dominated the favored Chiefs, especially on defense, where they sacked Alex Smith four times, forced two fumbles, and had two interceptions, both by linebacker Jerrell Freeman.
Both of Brown's touchdowns followed Kansas City turnovers.
The Colts moved to 10-5, and can still reach the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs with a win over Jacksonville next week and a Cincinnati loss to Baltimore.
Kansas City was eliminated from the AFC West title picture, and most likely will see the Colts again in two weeks in Indianapolis in the opening round of the playoffs.
