Churubusco, Homestead Remain Perfect; Carroll, New Haven; Columbia City NHC Victors

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Churubusco, Homestead, Carroll, New Haven, and Columbia City were all impressive winners Friday night,.

Jason Nicodemus ran for touchdowns of 82 and 54 yards as Churubusco stayed atop the NECC and moved to 5-0 overall on the year with a 37-21 win at Angola.

Zach Terrell hit Isaac Griffith with a pair of touchdown passes while Jake Weber ran for three touchdowns and 103 yards on just four carries in Homestead's 55-7 pasting of Bellmont.

Grant Wilson connected with John Hester for two touchdowns and Wilson added a score on the ground as Carroll prevailed at East Noble 21-16.

Te'Vaughn Hurse scurried for 162 yards and two touchdowns, and Anthony Moore also ran for two scores in New Haven's 41-7 beating of Norwell.

Connor Slavich threw for two touchdowns as Columbia City regained winning form with a 28-14 win over DeKalb.
