Carroll Moves on to State; New Haven Comes Up Short

(South Bend)- Carroll is now 1 win away from back to back state titles in 4A baseball. The Chargers took out Crown Point 9-2 in the 4A South Bend Semistate. Carroll will meet Indianapolis Cathedral in the 4A finals next Saturday, 7pm at Victory Field in Indianapolis.

Also in South Bend in the 3A Semistate, New Have came up short, 5-4 against Mishawaka Marion. This is the second straight year New Haven was beaten in the Semistate.
