Carmel Ends Carroll's Season; New Haven Tops Norwell; Woodlan Out, South Adams Advances (VIDEO)

UNDATED (21 Alive) - Carmel came north and ushered Carroll out of the 6A playoffs, while New Haven pounded Norwell in 4A, Woodlan fell in 2A, and South Adams moved on in 1A.

Isaac James threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third to show the way in Carmel's 38-7 romp past Carroll.

The Chargers' lone score came on a Chandler Boggs to Drue Tranquill touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.

Ariest Vasquez rolled for 267 yards and a pair of touchdowns in New Haven's 37-7 whipping of Norwell.

Jordan Hogue scored twice on a pass reception and a punt return for the Bulldogs, who visit Dwenger at Zollner Stadium next week in the 4A regional.

Despite 144 yards and a touchdown by Jaylin Bennett, Woodlan's season was ended by Bremen in the 2A sectional final 20-13.

South Adams outlasted Southwood 40-39 in the 1A sectional final and will host Tri-Central at regional.
