Blackhawk Repeats As City Swim Champ

FORT WAYNE, Ind,. (21 Alive) - Blackhawk gained the Fort Wayne City Swim meet title for the second straight year on Sunday.

Combining boys and girls scores, Blackhawk won with 1926 points to 1484 for second place Sycamore Hills, and 1452.5 for third place Orchard Ridge.

Blackhawk won the boys competition while Sycamore Hills won the girls.

Five swimmers had perfect 60 point days:

Ripley Merritt, Sycamore Hills, 8 and under girls
Alex Strait. Blackhawk, 8 and under boys
Fin Brooks, Pocohontas, 9-10 boys
Charlie Varga, Columbia City, 11-12 boys
Jordyn Polderman, Blackhawk, 15 and over girls
