UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - Adams Central won its second straight trip to state in softball Saturday, while Huntington North was stopped a game short, and Lakewood Park was put on hold by weather.
In 4A, Huntington North rode the 13 strikeout shutout piching of Erin Rethlake to a 6-0 win over Harrison in the semifinals of the Harrison Semistate, then dropped a 2-1 nine inning decision to Portage in the final.
In 2A, Adams Central rallied from a 4-0 deficit to top Wapahani 11-6 in ten innings at the Laville Semistate semifinal, then gained their second straight state finals berth with a 4-1 final game win over Wheeler.
In 1A, Lakewood Park's bid to defend their state title was put on hold by wet grounds at Clinton Prairie, and the Panthers will now play their semifinal with Pioneer on Monday afternoon.
