FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Week 3 of 21Alive’s Subway Tailgate Party stops at Carroll High School.

The Chargers (2-0) are ranked No. 8 in both the Associated Press and IFCA coaches polls, and host Norwell in their Northeast Hoosier Conference opener.

Neon Nation student section and the 40-member Carroll cheer squad greated the Bob Thomas Ford The Score truck and brand new T-shirts.

“It’s been so fun this year,” senior cheerleader Alexis Furthmiller says. “Our coaches have really turned us around the past four years. I’m really sad this is my last year cheering.”

21Alive Morning News anchor Linda Jackson, whose son is a Carroll student, was also enjoying a beautiful Friday night of football.
