Komets Surge In Game 3, Take 2-1 Series Lead

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Fort Wayne Komets came out firing Thursday night, winning a pivitol Game 3 of their playoff series with Reading.

The Komets used a three-goal third period to win, 5-1. The K's lead the best-of-7 series, 2-1.

Center Dean Ouellette returned after 17 days on injured reserve to net a goal. Winger Chris Auger added 2 goals. The other two goals came from winger Aaron Clarke and an empty-netter from winger Brandon Marino.

Game 4 is 8 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum.
