FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Josh Eggold is stepping down as head coach of the Concordia Lutheran High School boys basketball program.

21Alive learned Thursday night that Eggold told his team earlier that day he would resign to spend more time with his family.

Concordia confirmed the departure in a statement released Friday.
Eggold just finished his 7th season with the Cadets, going 87-70.

In 2012-13, Concordia advanced all the way to the 3A state championship game, but lost to Greensburg 73-70 in overtime.
