Southorn Loaned To AHL's Hamilton

Defenseman Jordon Southorn

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Fort Wayne Komets have sent defenseman Jordon Southorn on loan to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

Southorn was traded to Fort Wayne from Elmira earlier this season, and has scored 9 goals and 23 points in 39 games with the K's.

Hamilton is the primary AHL affiliate to the Montreal Canadiens.

Southorn, 23, is in his fourth year of professional hockey. He was a fourth-round draft pick of the Buffalo Sabres in the 2008 NHL Draft.
