Siva & Mitchell Return To Mad Ants

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Detroit Pistons on Friday reassigned guard Peyton Siva and forward Tony Mitchell to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Siva and Mitchell return to the Ants for the second time this season.

Siva averaged 12 points, 2.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 2.6 steals in five games in December and January. The former Louisville standout was selected 56th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft and a member of the Cardinals' National Championship team a year ago. Siva has played in 13 games with the Pistons, averaging 0.3 points per game.

Mitchell averaged 6.8 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game and 1.5 blocks per game in 6 appearances for the Ants. The North Texas product was drafted 37th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft. He has also played in 12 games for the Pistons, averaging 1.3 points per game.

Both are expected to play Saturday versus Canton in a 7:30 p.m. Tipoff at Memorial Coliseum.
