FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - A former big leaguer from Fort Wayne will star in a new role as television analyst.
Eric Wedge confirmed Tuesday that he accepted a job with ESPN.
Wedge will appear in-studio as part of Major League Baseball and will provide commentary for some games.
Wedge left the Seattle Mariners in September after three seasons. He also managed the Cleveland Indians from 2002 to 2009.
Wedge played portions of the Major League Baseball from 1991 to 1994.
The Northrop High School graduate's annual baseball camp will return to Fort Wayne in February.
