Mitchell & Siva Join Mad Ants From Pistons

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Detroit Pistons have assigned forward Tony Mitchell and guard Peyton Siva to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Mitchell joins the Mad Ants after appearing 10 games with the Pistons, where he averaged 1.1 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.

Siva has played in 13 games in his rookie season with the Pistons. He was the 56th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. Siva starred at the University of Louisville, leading the Cardinals to the NCAA National Championship. He was also named to the Final Four All-Tournament team.

Mitchell and Siva are the 27th and 28th NBA players assigned to D-League affiliates this season.
