FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The 21Alive/Parkview Sports Medicine High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week has turned his game up a notch in the start of his junior season.

Carroll guard Chandler White is off to a quick start, averaging 21 points and 5 rebounds through 3 games.

It was his 21 points and 5 assists that led the Chargers over a big win Friday night against Concordia Lutheran.

White says he has worked on his ball-handling and shooting to become a better all-around player.

Carroll head coach Marty Beasley says White is playing the best basketball yet; and that White's maturity is showing through his speed and control of the game.

Division I programs on the east coast and some Big Ten Conference schools have shown interest in White so far. White could turn more teams' heads as the season goes on.
