FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – The 21Alive/Parkview Sports Medicine High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 4 is the lone senior for a Homestead team that has started 4-0 on the young season.

Sydney Buck scored 19 points against Marion and 23 against Huntington North last week. Buck surpassed the 1,000-point career park during the Huntington North game, too.

A big part of Buck’s game has been her 3-point shooting. She is 53 percent from behind the arc, which helps her average 18 points per game through four games.

Buck signed her national letter of intent to play at Butler University last month.
