FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Fort Wayne Komets added three more players to their preseason roster on Tuesday.
The K's have added forwards Keegan Flaherty and Darick Ste. Marie and goaltender Max Strang
All three are 23 years old and come from a various levels of hockey.
Flaherty comes to Fort Wayne from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and a squad that won the 2011 NCAA Championship. He scored 10 career goals and 29 points in his collegiate career.
Ste. Marie from St. Bruno, Quebec, Canada, played for both Evansville and Orlando last season, scoring two goals and ten points.
Strang played netminder at Mercyherst College the past five seasons. He finished with a 2.59 goals against average in 27 games last year.
The K's preseason roster now has 26 players as the franchise inches closer to season 62 of professional hockey.
