K's Add Championship Goaltender (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Fort Wayne Komets added their first goaltender to preseason roster on Tuesday, signing John Muse.

Muse, 25, of East Falmouth, Massachusetts, comes to Fort Wayne following a season split with the Florida Everblades and the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL. He won the ECHL Kelly Cup Championship and ECHL Playoff MVP in 2012.


Last season, Muse went 18-10-3 with a 2.50 goals against average in Charlotte and 25-14-7 with a 2.98 goals against average with Florida.


He was also in the crease for two (2008 & 2010) NCAA National Championships with Boston College.
