FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The 21Alive/Parkview Sports Medicine Girls Basketball Player of the Week was a leading force behind South Side's SAC Holiday Tournament girls basketball championship.

Junior Chelsea Rogers had a relatively quiet game in the quarterfinals against North Side. But she scored 19 in the semi-finals against Snider and 23 against Concordia Lutheran in the finals as the Lady Archers took home the crown.

Rogers has really developed her inside game in addition to her perimeter shooting. She says that's a result of practice during the offseason.

Rogers now accounts for 12 points and 5 rebounds a game for the Lady Archers, and has become a significant contributor to South Side.
