STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Two men are injured after the car they were in crashed Saturday evening. Police say alcohol played a factor.

Police say Logan Norton, 30, of Pleasant Lake, failed to stop at a stop sign at C.R. 1000 E. when his vehicle went off the road, hit an embankment and then a fence. Norton refused medical treatment at the scene.

He was taken to the Steuben County Sheriff's Office for further investigation and was later charged with driving while intoxicated.

He was then taken to a hospital where he was treated for a broken hand and facial injuries. His passenger, Nathan Norton, 34, of Pleasant Lake, was also taken to a hospital with a broken hip and facial injuries.

Police say it appears that the men were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
