FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – The third annual Fort Wayne Pug Fest was held at the Memorial Coliseum.

The pug extravaganza is held every June and all proceeds go to the Kentuckiana Pug Rescue to help benefit the over 100 pugs that are currently in foster care.

Since January, the group has taken in nearly 70 pugs and the intake is expected to grow.

Local vendors included Allen County SPCA, Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control, and the Fort Wayne Pet Food Pantry.

Organizers say Pugs are available for adoption, but you must be pre-approved before taking one home.
