Meth Lab Discovered In The Heart Of Fort Wayne

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Allen County Police discovered a working meth lab while serving a warrant for child support.

Just before 1:30 Wednesday afternoon the Sheriff's Department was serving a warrant to 38-year-old Sean Yoder who was living at an apartment in the 2700 block of Fairfield Avenue when officers say they smelled a chemical odor and found items related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

The Fort Wayne Fire and Police departments were called and a working working meth lab was later discovered.

Two children were found inside the home and were removed by child protective services.

Additional apartment residents, 29-year-old Beth Walda and 33-year-old Anthony Heide were also taken into custody.

Yoder, Walda and Heide were all charged on drug related charges.
