UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) – If you're celebrating St. Patrick's Day, then you may be happy to know that the pint of green beer you're enjoying might benefit your health.

According to a recent study from Harvard University, beer can prevent blood clots and reduce the risk of a stroke.

The study says a few beers a day may also lower the risk of diabetes in middle-aged men by 25 percent.

Another study in 2009, found the high levels of silicon in beer can be good for bones, as well.

However, the study does suggest that beer and other alcoholic drinks should be enjoyed only in moderation.
