SOUTH BEND, Ind. (21Alive) – South Bend Police are looking for a man they say fired a gun at another man and instead shot his own six-year old son in the leg.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office says an arrest warrant has been issued charging 29-year-old Kenny Lee with attempted battery and criminal recklessness.

According to a report, Lee got into an argument with the boy’s uncle, Jerome Holloway, who lives at the home with Lee’s children.

Reports claim Holloway kept insisting that Lee provide more support for his children.

That’s when Lee pulled out a gun and fired a shot, which hit Lee’s six-year old son who was standing on the porch.

The shot broke the boy’s leg, which was put into a cast.
