FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) – Well it's clearly no secret that these winter weather troubles are here to stay.

We've seen it all. From record breaking snow fall and temperatures, Mother Nature has been at full force this entire winter.

A little more than 30 inches of snow fell in the month of January, the most snow we've ever seen in a month in Fort Wayne history.

But fortunately for winter lovers, it's not letting up any time soon.

"It's not bad, you know as long as go out here, you drive slow, drive safe, get back and forth from home safely, just take your time, be careful, drive slow, don't be in a rush," Chris Palmer said.

And others, well they are ready for that sun to peak through and melt every bit of snow that's made a nice home on the ground.

"I'm tired of this weather; you don't know what to wear. One day its cold one day it's warm, and now it's icy out here again. It's getting ready to have ice, we're going to have ice on the ground, I’m just sick of the snow,” Brenda Simpson said.

"I am sick of winter, for sure i don't remember another winter like this in the past, i am physically sick of winter,” Mandy Keller said.

Others, well they aren't as bothered by the cold, they are just ready to get back into a regular routine.

"I’m a teacher so it's been great, we've had lots of days off of school, but looking forward to getting in a routine once it gets warmer,” Becky Dermyer said.

"I’m ready to warm up because I've got to do some work around the house, and you can hardly do anything in this kind of weather," Alan Wiseman said.

While we did set records for winter weather in the month of January, we don't quite know what's in store for February, but the best we can do is make the most of it, because let's face it, this is Indiana weather.
