Shots Fired In Huntington, Suspect In Custody

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (21Alive) – Shots were fired in Huntington Saturday evening. Police have arrested one suspect.

Huntington Police say around 5:40 p.m. Saturday they responded to reports of shots being fired from Crescent Ave. and Lafontaine St.

When they arrived, police say they were able to speak to several witnesses who gave a description of the suspect. Police also found several rounds of fired ammunition in the area.

Police were able to locate and obtain the suspect, as well as the weapon, and make an arrest. They’re not releasing the suspect’s name at this time as charges are pending.

Huntington Police continue to investigate the incident.
