FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Southwest Allen County Schools will be cutting bus services to students who live within 1.5 miles of Summit Middle School and Homestead High School.

The SACS school board approved the change Tuesday night.

Superintendent Dr. Steve Yager says to replace the bus service, the district will be implementing "no transportation zones" or NTZ's, meaning students will need to walk or be dropped off at school.
