NEW JERSEY (www.incnow.tv) - A controversial video has landed Rutgers University in some hot water.

The video, shot during a basketball practice, shows coach Mike Rice chucking basketballs at his players. Rice is also alleged to have used some gay slurs. The university suspended Rice for three games in December, and put the issue to rest.

ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” got a hold of the tape this week, and it went viral. Causing many, including New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and NBA super-star Lebron James to question why Rice wasn’t fired for his actions.

Athletic Director Tim Pernetti and the administration continue to stand by the original punishment.
